How It Works:
- Latex-free, antimicrobial foam sponge holds up well to multiple uses and cleanings.
- Cocamide DEA boosts lather for rich and thorough cleansing.
- Sodium benzoate keeps the cleanser free from fungus and bacteria.
- Decyl glucoside is a mild cleanser often used in baby shampoos and formulas for sensitive skin. It also effectively cleans makeup brushes and sponges.
Suggested Use: The beautyblender sponge is useful for applying concealer, foundation, blush, and for finishing makeup looks. To apply concealer, tap concealer onto skin with fingertips and use smaller end of beautyblender to cover and smooth. For foundation, use the broad end of the beautyblender to smooth and cover cheeks, forehead, and chin. Foundation may be applied directly to beautyblender or applied to skin with fingertips and smoothed with beautyblender. For blush, tap onto cheeks with fingertips and smooth and blend with beautyblender.
To clean, wet beautyblender. Apply a dime-sized amount of blendercleanser to soiled areas of beautyblender. Work into a lather, rinse, and repeat if necessary. Squeeze to remove excess water. Set beautyblender on insert pedestal to dry. You can also put beautyblender in the dryer. Be sure to use an air-dry setting; beautyblender should not come in contact with extreme heat of any kind.
Precautions: blendercleanser is not for use directly on skin.

"Yes it's a bit pricey. But I weighed the costs of buying just one Beauty Blender, vs 1 BB plus the cleanser vs 2 BBs with no cleanser. The combination of 2 BBs with the cleanser was cheaper. I was surprised to discover just how easily it washes out too!
Even though it is only used on my face, I plan on disposing mine after 3 months as recommended because it is a sponge after all, even with the cleanser to clean it. I appreciate how the company offers a way to disposed of it in a way that's safe for the environment too!
The BB expands to almost twice its size when you wet it and that helps it cover a large amount of skin when applying your makeup. I do it by stippling, bouncing the BB up and down on my skin and kind of rolling it toward the edges of my face.The makeup blends extremely well and looks incredibly natural! It's almost like my skin is photoshopped or airbrushed! This is one purchase I'm glad I made!"

"The beautyblender works great and gives you really smooth and flawless application. I don't use it for everyday application however because it actually takes longer to dampen, apply, and clean the beautyblender than just applying my makeup with a brush. Also its not very travel friendly because I wouldn't want to just throw it in my makeup bag for fear of messing it up, and the little container it is in would get bulky.
The cleanser is AMAZING though, it gets EVERYTHING out! And I was surprised by how much product you actually get, the bottle was a lot bigger than expected. I also cleaned out my brushes with it and it worked great. If you take care of your beauty blenders, this kit will no doubt last 6 months so its a pretty good buy."
