Total Bargain

"I used my first one of these into the ground in 3 years. Repurchased another because it was my own abuse that killed it. hehe. It's a great curling iron and doesn't break the bank!"

I like it, but I don't love it

"I got the 1" size to replace my old chrome Conair iron that I finally dropped for the last time. This is a good iron - I love how fast it heats up, the swivel cord & the curls last a lot longer. But it's so smooth that my hair slides out of it easily, so it's hard to get tension when I'm doing the right side of my head (I'm right handed). I'm sure I'll get the hang of it eventually & I did notice my hair is a bit more shiny when I use this iron + it's light weight, but I may just get another Conair to use when I'm in a hurry."

Not For Me

"I've only used it once but I saw no difference compared to my cheap $20 dollar revelon curling iron. I will give it a few more tries but I dont think it is worth the money and will most likely return. However, it is important to note that my hair is very fine, long, and SUPER straight. I was hoping this curling iron would hold a curl longer than others, but it did not."

"My daughter bought the 1" and I like it and it works fine but I don't really see much difference than other brands I have had. But maybe it will last longer than than the others "

Worth the splurge

"I seriously LOVE Hot Tools brand curling irons. I have three! I got this one for smaller waves, but have only used it a couple of times. It gets nice and hot and I love the long swivel-cord so it doesn't get in a tangled mess! Definitely a great brand if you're looking for a new curling iron -- I would recommend every size! I have the 1", 1 1/4" and 1 1/2"!"

"I have the 1" and it creates very long-lasting barrel curls that I comb out to relax them."

"I like the 1.5" - heats up quickly, makes great barrel curls that then get combed out into amazing waves. I also like that it does not tear hair or get gummed up with product... so many times that's an issue w/ my tools!"

"I thought I'd love this so much more than my original hot tools curling iron and I do love it, but it isn't super different. "
