I am not sure how people are applying this, but I did not use the whole sample at once. It should be used sparingly and I had about 4-5 applications from the sample. The consistency may be a bit of a detractor for some, as it looks like something someone might find on their face in a porn movie, but in moderation it rubs in and isn't sticky as some have claimed. I found it soaked into my skin and after it did, it did not feel tacky or dried out, however, I applied my moisturizer over it after it dried and then applied my mineral foundation. I love it! I think it smells a lot like fresh ground cinnamon. I did experience some tingling the first time I used it, but really nothing since. I am excited to see what the results will be after using it for a bit. "

The one thing I didn't like (and this might be me using too much) is when I put on the Blueberries moisturizer my skin felt like it had a thick coat and I broke out a little. I'm going to scale back a little bit on the serum and the moisturizer. The only thing about the serum is that a little does go a long way and it absorbs quickly so it takes a couple of tries to find the right balance for your skin. At any rate I love that my skin looks fresh and has a tighter feeling afterwards."

I applied it after i toned my face in the AM, waited about 10min for it to soak in then used my Hope in a Jar moisturizer. I noticed my face felt very tight and then I looked at the ingredients and saw why... ALCOHOL! I did like the way it made my skin look which was dewy but hated the way it felt. After i applied my moisturizer that tight feeling did go away but it just seems pointless to me to put alcohol on my face esp. because I have very dry skin. It had a funky smell i didn't like and it left a strange film on my face that started to peel when i applied my makeup. I buffed on my BareMinerals and all of a sudden had small flakes all over my face...not cute. I did let the serum absorb for about 10 min before i moisturized and even after that i waited another 15 before starting my makeup. I am looking for a good serum to use and this was a miss."
