How It Works: Gentle sonic micro-massaging action is proven to effectively loosen dirt and oil to clear pores. The Sonic Skin Cleansing System uses a patented sonic frequency of more than 300 movements per second to clean, soften and smooth your skin.
Results: Clinical research indicates 6X more makeup removal with Clarisonic than with manual cleansing, and 61% greater absorption of Vitamin C after use. "The brush bristles are very crowded, to the point where I think bacteria is getting caught in there no matter how you try to dry or sanitize it between uses. I am experiencing blackheads and cystic acne with this product...something I thought this product was supposed to prevent. It still is kind of better than just plain old hand washing your face. I enjoy my Clarisonic, but I do not think it was a necessity or a staple for my cleansing routine. I have acne prone skin and I tend to be more on the dry side. When I use the Clarisonic my face definitely feels amazing afterwards, but I don't notice a difference in the actual quality of my skin long term with using the Clarisonic. I think it is a great purchase overall, but for the price I'm not sure if given the choice I would purchase it all over again (knowing what I know now). I feel like a general facial brush would do a similar job and Clarisonic. Also, the facial cleanser that comes with the Clarisonic is complete crap. I definitely do not like that cleanser!"

"Love love love love. However! Proper usage of this item is key! Gentle movement over the skin is all that is needed for effectivenes--, actively pressing the clarisonic onto your skin or rubbing the skin with it while it's on can cause irritation and dryness to the skin because of over-exfoliation (Let the clarisonic do the work!!) Choose the correct brush head, and really find your comfort level with this product. Some clients find that once every two days is enough, others once a day, and yet others still use it every time they cleanse their face. Choose the appropriate cleanser (always ask for help when purchasing this item, the associate should be able to advise you in cleansers and products that work the best with this system). And remember remember, your skin is going to PURGE when first using this product-- this is nothing to be scared of! Your skin is getting cleaner than its been in years, and you're on the road to fantastic results!"

First of all I have very dry, dull skin, I get super dry patches all over my face, along with redness and starting to get the red/purple veins showing thru & large pores on my nose..The first 2 times I used the Mia, I had dead skin that came off each time I used it. I literally could peel it off after I used the Mia. After the 2nd use, no dead, dry patches, my skin was completely new again! It was like it shed all over and I had a new face, literally!! - If you are ticklish or sensitive, the "experience" might be unpleasant.
- The Sensitive brush is kind of harsh. Not sure if my face is super sensitive, but the bristles sometimes feel like sandpaper.
- Runs out of battery fairly quickly. The instructions say that if you charge 18 hours, you get 20 full minutes of usage. That's super quick in my opinion. I use it two minutes per time. That means I can only use it 10 times before I have to charge 18 hours again?!
- My only real concern is that your skin will be dependent on it. I'm afraid that once you stop using it, your face will not only revert back to its previous stage but worse."

"I admit, I do have this product, and it does a great job of exfoliating and creating an even and glowing skin tone. However, there are cheaper versions available that do just as good of a job, like the Olay version. The rotating head exfoliates beautifully and is non irritating. I recommend using it maybe once every other day if you have oily skin, and a couple times a week if you have dry skin. Using the product to often will strip your skin of natural oils, since it does clean so deep. On the off days I recommend using a wash cloth morning and night. (Some even consider this product a glorified washcloth) Whatever method you choose, just make sure to exfoliate because doing so will create a great skin tone and will help makeup go on easier. It's all personal preference :)"

"I love this. It makes your skin feel sooo smooth. It gets every last bit of makeup off but it is nice and gentle. Use mine twice a day and it feels so good on my skin. Helps with pores but it takes a month to see the full results so be patient. If you break out a little thats just your skin purging the stuff from before. Overall I think it makes a great christmas gift for anyone."

"after reading very many reviews, i decided to invest in the clarisonic mia. the first night after using the mia, my skin was smooth, but previously using a washcloth during my skin routine gave me the same smoothness. i am not noticing much change in my skin, but it does feel like a minute of heaven on my face. fyi: the minute seems to go by entirely too fast because it does feel so good. i almost always press the button again and use it for another minute cycle for a total of two minutes. i am keeping my mia for the mock spa effect."

Clarisonic they carry four different models: Mia, Classic, Plus and Pro. Classic is the original, plus is for face and body, pro is the exclusive model used and sold by skin care professionals. Clarisonic mia comes in white, yellow, pink, blue, lavender and more.
It is great to bring it to travel with. The battery life is 20mins, each time you use you only use it for one minute. I really like the universal charger and it is really cool because it’s a magnetically attaches to the handle. Most of all I love the fact that this is waterproof, so I can use it in the shower.
Suggested Usage
-Prior to the first use, charge the Clarisonic Mia handle for 24 hours.
- If you use makeup, remove eye makeup by hand.
-Wet your skin and the brush head with warm water.
-Liberally apply cleanser to your skin or to the brush head.
-Push the on/off button to turn your Clarisonic on and gently move the brush using a small circular motion, beginning on the forehead, then moving to the nose/chin area and the cheeks.
-Pressing too hard will impede the motion of the brush and reduce its effectiveness.
-The outer brushes are designed to contain any residual mist from the brush oscillation, so be sure to hold the brush head flush to your skin.
- To pause the cleansing cycle for up to 30 seconds, simply press the on/off button.
- Mia will automatically shut off after one minute.
-The Mia handle is waterproof for use in the shower or bathtub.
My Clarisonic Routine
After a month and half of using this product I have noticed the different of my skin. I know that clarisonic I use this every night at first then every other night. I find that using this every night for dry skin especially the dry weather is too much. I can probably use it more often during summer when I get so oily and gross. I use this cleanser about 10 seconds each on my checks, 10 seconds on my forehead, 15 seconds around my nose and 15 seconds on my chin using my regular Origins cleanser. The brush head you’re supposed to change it every 3 months of use. However, My skin feels like baby bum soft every time after I use it. I would touch it over and over again of course with my clean hands.
My Thoughts
- I am VERY happy with my skin, I used to get lot of small bumps on my checks but I don’t get that anymore. I still break out from time to time, usually around that time of the month but that’s fine.
- For fading fine lines, or reduce my pores, I really don’t see much of a different and again I’ve been using this for only a month and half.
- When I first started on mia I had two huge scars on my check. I don’t know if it’s just me but my scars faded faster than it normally would. - Not only this product exfoliates my skin, but I also use this on my lips and my neck. It helps me to get rid of my dry lips. So I can apply my lipstick better.
- Yes it defiantly helps to remove my dry skin patches.
- Ever since I’ve been using Clarisonic Mia I feel more confidence with my skin, because I don’t have lot of problems with my skin no more beside my dark circle, pores, black heads, which is almost impossible to get rid of. I wear less makeup for sure tho.

"Ok - I must admit - I was one of the skeptics and thought to myself that there was no way this little brush was going to transform my skin all by itself. I mean, really. "I absolutely love my Mia! If a blemish shows, I use it on that spot a little longer and the blemish goes away a million times faster than without the Mia. My skin is much less oily and more even toned. It really has made my skin clear up tremendously. I think as with any skin care item, consistency is key. I use it every single night at least and since I've gotten the Mia, I have not went to bed with my makeup on. I used to do that at least once a week. I totally recommend the Mia to anyone with any skin type. You just may have to alter your usage time per day per your skin type but it will really help your skin!"

"I love my mia. i have pretty decent skin so i don't really use this often as it's not too necessary for me. i do use it a couple times a week to exfoliate and it leaves my skin looking so fresh and clean. it removes every trace of makeup and i find it very gentle on my sensitive skin. my only gripe is that i feel like it loses power pretty fast but that's what a charger's for. i don't use the cleanser it comes with as i'm scared of breaking out so i just use the st ives fresh skin wash and it works just fine."

"I've been using the mia for a few months now, diligently twice a day for at least two minutes each time. Unfortunately it's not the miracle worker I was hoping for!
