"Love the smell! My favorite cold weather/dry weather shampoo.
This is perfect for my hair in the winter time, because it adds a little more moisture and softness to it, without over-conditioning and making my hair greasy."

"Very pleasantly surprised with this shampoo --It works wonders on dry/flaky scalps. My scalp has responded just using it for two days --it's far less irritated and not itchy. I've used almost every over-the-counter product plus have been to the Dermatologist for prescription products. My problem is that either the item doesn't work, makes my skin react or causes more problems! I love this product for several reasons: it's all natural, smells heavenly and works on the dryness. It's a worthwhile item to buy. "

"This was definitely a huge disappointment. It smelled amazing, like candy, but did nothing for my scalp dryness and flaking. In addition this caused an allergic reaction and breakouts anywhere it came in contact with my face/hairline, and believe me I tried sooo hard several times to keep it away from there. I would rather use something else that is equally useless against my scalp issues but doesn't compound them by breaking me out. I have heard others talk about it being drying but I really wouldn't know about that because I always use a conditioner no matter what, with my hair type there isn't a 2-in-1 in the world that could provide enough moisture."

"Boy do I love this shampoo! I am constantly applying heat to my hair, so my scalp tends to get dry, flaky, and itchy. This shampoo is the perfect solution for this problem, and to top it off, IT SMELLS LIKE CAKE BATTER! A little goes a long way, which is something I can't say for most sulfate-free shampoos. It is pricey, but one shampoo that doesn't disappoint, so this product will definitely be a staple in my shower. "

"This shampoo smells really yummy, although it is a bit strong. Unfortunately, it didn't really do all that great of a job for me. It does ok, but if you have super long hair like I do, then you have to combine it with a conditioner to get the moisture you need. I also feel like my hair gets dirty faster than if I use other brands of shampoos. It also did absolutely nothing for my scalp psoriasis, which was the main reason I bought it. A little dissapointing. "

"The shampoo is average and does a so-so job, but the smell is what makes this unusable for me- it smells so sweet like pure brown sugar that I almost have to plug my nose in the shower- really wanted to love this but unfortunately this John Masters product isn't for me."

"It's the best shampoo I ever tried. It smells like a chocolate and it gives volume for my hair. It's ideal for my oily scalp. "

"I was looking to try a sulfate and silicone free shampoo, but thought I would be sacrificing performance without these ingredients. I was wrong! Now my hair doesn't get oily even after 2 or 3 days of no washing (I used to get oily after less than a day), my scalp irritation/breakouts have gone away, and my fine/thick blond hair looks full and soft, kind of like it did when I was a kid. I have actually gotten several compliments after I started using this shampoo. Since it has conditioner included I tried to use this on its own for several weeks, but I was even happier when I combined it with the JMO Citrus & Neroli Detangler. I love the smell, kind of like caramel. I have been using this shampoo for 3 months so far and I think I will be sticking with it for a long time."

"I love all John Masters products, especially this shampoo.I use this in the winter and the Lavendar Rosemary shampoo in the warmer months. This shampoo works great when my hair is dryer and leaves it clean and shiny without that too-slick, over-clean feel I get from other shampoos. It smells fabulous too - nothing like zinc or sage; more like a vanilla cookie. I love that it's organic too. Highly recommended!"
