It’s one thing to cover up acne. It’s another to prevent it. This gentle and soothing acne fighting gel contains a combination of potent alpha hydroxy acid and maximum-strength beta hydroxy acid to treat and prevent whiteheads, blemishes and blackheads. It also reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, refines pores and leaves your skin feeling smooth. Fragrance-free and oil-free, this deep pore cleansing gel exfoliates and stimulates cell turnover for a clear, radiant complexion.
Ideal For: Suitable for all skin types, especially those with aging and acne-prone skin who want a smooth, clear complexion.
How it Works: 10% Glycolic Acid (AHA) exfoliates surface dead skin cells and stimulates cellular turnover. 2% Salicylic Acid (BHA) helps to loosen sebum within the pores and prevents future breakouts.
Suggested Use: Apply a thin layer to cleansed skin. Apply only to congested and/or oil areas. For targeted treatment, apply PTR Acne Spot And Area Treatment over AHA/BHA Acne Clearing Gel on affected area.

Not For Me
"I was completely unimpressed by this product. It did nothing for my skin and is overpriced. I've tried several Peter Thomas Roth products and find them all overpriced and none of them help my skin, so now I don't buy the product line at all."

Not For Me
"I've been using this for at least 6 weeks and I'm not impressed. I bought it on a friends recommendation who had suffered from acne, and said it really cleared up her skin and helped fade her acne scars. The only area I experienced dryness was my nose, so I stopped applying it to my whole face and concentrated only on the "beard" area. Used it twice a day. I get hormonal breakouts like clockwork, which is the main reason I tried this. That said, this did not prevent or clear up any blemishes, or help with scarring, and instead of being broken out for one week out of the month, I've been breaking out since I started using this. I waited it out to see if it was maybe stress, but this is the only new product in my regimen and it's gotta go. "
