"I have long since been a fan of cream shadow products, and with MAC Paint Pots and Benefit Cream Shadows Being some of my favorite items in this category. I thought it was time to try out the Stila Smudge Pots since I heard great things. Unfortunately, I was not impressed by the formula. The formula does not apply smooth like the MAC and Benefit versions do. I felt like the smudge pot appeared to crease a bit which was disappointing. I do love the color selection that Stila offers, I simply would not purchase again due to the formula not working for my skin type."

"not a fan of the smudge pots as all over cream eyeshadows- they are very hard to blend. I recommend using them as eyeliners and they work but better- use a synthetic angled brush to create a thing line or wing for a more dramatic effect"

"I've tried the black pot and it is super super black. Probably the blackest cream line I've ever tried. It also very much is a smudge pot. The liner would stay on well, but would always have a slightly smudge look after a while. Great if you're looking for a smokey eye, not so great if you want to do a nice crisp cat eye."

"Absolutely love this gel liner. First time I've TRIED gel liner, but I don't feel the need to branch out. Goes on easily, and it STAYS on. Which to me, is the most important part. Just remember to keep your brush clean!"

"this is great! idk about the sparkles, but the quality and consistency is great. Wears all day, wish it was a darker black (talking about the black cat one) I ordered the plain black later and it was exactly what i was looking for! Great liner. "

"I own bronze and black, and they are both very vibrant and long lasting. Then only problem is that they dry up before you have a chance to use it all up, so you may have to replace sooner than you expect. I personally have not been able to use it as a base because it dries faster than you can smudge it, and the color doesn't end up even. As a gel liner though, I have found none better!"

"The bronze was a lot darker than I thought it'd be. Didn't like the way it looked on me, but the color is rich and the make up is a very good quality."

"The black is truly black. Great as a base if you want really dark eyes but don't want the flake all around like a lot of powder shadows produce. I used it as a base and then put a shimmery bright blue over top for a fun finish. The lighter color Kitten has a very nice shimmer to it as well."

"these dry out quick. residues left on your brush will dry out, so wash them after each use! and definitely not very smudge-able like it claims... but other than that, they do draw some awesome eye lines that will stay on and on and on."

"This smudgepot is GREAT as a cream eyeliner but terrible as a base, unfortunately :( I've heard great things about it being a good color base but it just doesn't cut it. This product dries very quickly once applied so its hard to get even coverage. As a liner it can be pretty annoying to not be able to smudge it after being applied because it dries before you can finish. As a color base, you'd be better off with a creamier and "wetter" base such as NYX jumbo pencils. However, it is longer lasting near/on the waterline than MAC's fluidline. Overall, it is worth the purchase as a gel liner. "

"I was not happy with the quality of this product at all. It dried out so fast. While is was still moist it was a great eye liner, but for the price. I didn't even use close to half the product before it dried up. A big disappointment."

"Easy to apply and I love that it's easy to soften the edges if necessary. However, it tends to stick onto my brush easily and is kind of a pain to clean off. Nevertheless, it's great on my actual eye and it stays on pretty much all day."

"Stila smudge pots are the best. As with most smudge pots it does take some "trial runs" to get it just right. Practice makes perfect. The color stays true on your skin which is key. "

"Stila Smudge Pot's are one of my favorite products. Pair this with one of their awesome brushes, and it's a total must have! The colors are excellent, and they are so versatile, it's great! Use a little or a lot and you have total control of your look. I highly recommend this product if you're looking for a long lasting and noticeably great eye liner!"

"This is by far the best eyeliner I have tried. Color choices could be better but over all good find. They came out with the smudge sticks as well but the black I fell is better in the pot. This is waterproof and smudge proof, you have a couple of seconds to smudge and then it stays put."

"Stila Smudge Pots are the best! Easy to apply with a bent liner brush a cat eye look. And the colors they come in are great. I actually stay away from plain brown and black and opt for the gray, bronze, cobalt or black cat. Kitten is good for a subtle eyeliner or to use as a shadow base. Out of all I think the gray is best for those with fair complexion because it is dark without being as harsh as pure black. It might just be the one I have, but I think Black Cat is not as creamy of a consistency as the other colors - maybe because of the glitter. The bronze has a nice shimmer and the cobalt is a nice bright blue for spring/summer. Overall, I LOVE these and will probably end up having all colors eventually."

"Well I just ordered ths product the other day, and it came so quickly! So I had to try it out immediately!! I bought the brown one!! I LOVE IT! It glides on so easily and you can put it on thick or thin! So now I'm going to have to order the black and possibly some of the other colors also!!"
