How It Works:
- Ethyl acetate keeps nail colors mixed and ready for wear.
- Mica is a mineral known for containing light-reflecting particles to give nail colors an even-toned appearance.
- Silica reflects light to build beautiful, radiant color on nails.
- Stearalkonium bentonite keeps the nail polish smooth and viscous for easy application.
Suggested Use: Apply polish to clean, dry nails. Lightly wipe both sides of the lacquer brush on the opening of the bottle. Stroke nail lacquer down the center of the nail. Apply another stroke to each side of the nail. Smooth surface of the nail with a final stroke of the brush. Then, apply a second coat of nail lacquer, pulling color over the tips of nails.

"I really enjoy the variety of colors OPI comes out with and all of the different collections they have. I tend to have a slight issue with their brush sometimes. I find that it tends to be a tad large for my fingernails and also a tad heavy (if that's possible). I recently purchased Gargantuan Green Grape (yes, a last year's color - but it's super pretty!), but I was a tad disappointed overall with the application of this polish. However, OPI has definitely had some winners. I will always be fond of Diva of Geneva and Rumples Wiggin' (from the Shrek Collection - I think). Coincidentally those are both purple colors (on opposite ends of the spectrum). OPI will always be runner up for me in the Essie vs. OPI debate."

"I just LOVE OPI nail polishes! They take a bit longer to dry, but not one nail polish I've used has been able to withstand the test of time and work like OPI does. I use my hands a lot, they get dirty every day due to my job, and my nails are are the forefront of that exposure. But OPI nail polishes last. They last for almost 2 weeks before they start to chip and crack and I need to redo my manicure. And by then, it's more because my nails have grow out of the nail polish, than because they're chipping. I definitely will always use OPI."

"I'm giving this only two stars b/c I got a clear top coat that seems pretty worthless. It is kind of thick, which made drying time much longer, and it didn't seem to keep my polish from chipping. I have several other less expensive top coats that seem to be much more effective. For a higher price, I expect a better product. "I like the longevity of OPI's polishes over the competition in the same price range (namely China Glaze, Zoya, and Essie). I also love the ranges of colors. Each of the new collections offers gorgeous colors to match current trends (such as the neon color blocking we've been seeing Spring 2011). While their color is great I've found their nail care selection (top coats, base coats) to be nothing special. This is something Zoya excels in! OPI needs to step it up here I think.
While they have the shattered/crackle polishes their selection is far more limited (they have a total of 3 or 4 colors now) than that of China Glazes, however, their formula works so much better. It goes on smoother, doesn't get chunky as fast, and the crackling is much more prevalent over China Glazes (you can get the same effect with China Glaze, you just need to fiddle with it a bit).
OPI offers some unique shades you can't get with other brands, while still maintaining some staples such as reds, pinks, and nudes. "

"OPI makes some of the best nail polishes. The formulas always apply smooth and look great on the nails. I always use a base coat and when I pain my toenails I can usually get 3 weeks out of 1 application if I reapply top coat once a week. Yes these polishes cost more than most of the ones at the drugstore but its only a few dollars more and its totally worth it! I love the limited edition lines that they put out too!"
