How It Works:
- Zinc oxide encourages healing of skin disorders and has antiseptic properties. It is also an antioxidant-rich sunblock that prevents photodamage.
- Castor seed oil is a non-reactive emollient that binds moisture to the skin’s surface.
- Grape seed extract is helpful in diminishing the sun’s damaging effects and lessening free radical damage.
Suggested Use: The jane iredale Sable Lip Brush will make the color stay on longer because it fills in the tiny lines in the lips. To make your lips look larger, apply color just over the lip line (the "vermillion"). To make them look smaller, apply color just inside the vermillion. If possible, try to balance the mouth with the rest of the face by lining up the edge of the lips with the inside edge of the iris. Try to line up each peak of the upper lip with the middle of the nostril.

"The colors were fine, (i bought 2) but for a product named "PureMoist," I was disappointed. It is not moist....was really much drier than other lipsticks I have used, and I am not one to use the liquid glosses, just lipstick. Probably gives good protection if I keep applying to get thick, but its almost dry to me. It's not yet winter when my lips really tend to dry out, and then I will want even more moisture. I will choose something else next time. "

"The coral Cargo color I originally ordered was discontinued so I bought jane iredale's "Carrie" color in this lipstick...because that's my name and I'm a dork. Also because it was a shade of red one step closer to the orange I've been afraid to try. I love the color. It has a nice pink undertone, but you have to build layers to get a desired results. And maybe it's because I'm used to wearing glossier colors, but this was drier than most. It didn't make my lips dry, but again...you really have to build it. I suppose this is a true lipstick, unlike today's slicker products. I'll keep using it when I want to feel "fancy," but it's higher maintenance than most."
