"I originally tried this base when I received it in error from another online retailer. (I had ordered the glominerals loose base, which is also a great product.) However, since giving it a chance, my clothes have arrived much cleaner at work (no loose powder particles flying around). Plus, I can layer on a little more where needed. I use the included applicator, and it works great for me. As a former acne sufferer, I appreciate the coverage this base provides, yet I don't feel like I'm wearing a mask. I will never go back to liquid foundations! My dermatologist recommended this brand to me, and I am a loyal customer now. "

"A great prouct. Even, flawless coverage, easily applied with a kabuki brush. Also helps me to control the shine on my T-zone. The biggest challenge though is to get the shade right since most of the time you can only guess the right shade from the on-line color palette. The official site of glo minerals cosmetics (GloMinerals.com) offers a better tool for color choice where you can enlarge the picture significantly and get a better peek at the texture but I still would suggest to get the color matched to your skin tone in a pro spa - they do it for free as a face-mapping services when they see you as a potential buyer. "

"I was introduced to glominerals 7 years ago and I have tried many times to find comparable makeup for foundation and powder, without any success. This pressed base- if you can match the color correctly at a local retailer (try beauty spas and aestheticians- they will even do a color match for you)- is phenomenal. I LOVE that I don't need to use the liquid foundation, just the powder. I do have the liquid for more coverage or a night out- but the pressed base works well enough alone. I do recommend the pressed base vs. the loose powder. The coverage is the same, however the loose powder is extremely messy. You can't apply it to your face without a bib, or getting it all over your countertops. "
