jane iredale PurePressed® Base Mineral Foundation SPF 20 Refill is one refill cake for your jane iredale compact case. This weightless pressed powder gives you a sheer, semi-matte look for a perfect finish. It contains SPF 20 sun protection, earning it a recommendation from the Skin Cancer Foundation. It not only protects your skin from harmful UV rays, it acts as a powder, a concealer, and a foundation all in one! Its water-resistant formula gives you long-lasting coverage, and minimizes pores and fine lines. It can be applied wet or dry.

How It Works:
- Titanium dioxide is a pure mineral tinting powder that offers strong protection from UV rays.
- Zinc oxide encourages healing of skin disorders and has antiseptic properties. It is also an antioxidant-rich sunblock that prevents photodamage.
- Mica is a mineral known for containing light-reflecting particles to give skin an even-toned appearance.
- Pine bark extract has potent antioxidant properties that protect skin from damaging free radicals.
Suggested Use: Insert refill into jane iredale PurePressed® Base Mineral Foundation SPF 20 base. Swirl a jane iredale Handi Brush around the cake. Use the side of the compact to tap off any excess powder. Begin application where you want the most coverage, using downward strokes. Then layer the minerals over the rest of your face and neck.
More Information: All of the jane iredale formulas have multiple benefits for skin. All are safe for acne-prone skin and sensitive skin. They are completely noncomedogenic and allow skin to breathe. They can be used immediately following microdermabrasion procedures and light peels (check with a physician before using any makeup after a laser resurfacing). All of the products are water- and perspiration-resistant and keep skin from drying out. None of the jane iredale formulas contain talc or parabens, and none have been tested on animals.

"LOVE this!! I get tons of compliments on how "perfect" my skin looks! Goes on quick and even! You will want to use some kind of setting/finishing mist with this though... JI's Pommisst is the best but this got to be too pricey so I bought some rose water online and it works great at a fraction of the cost. I use 'radiant' and finish my face with JI's blush in 'barely rose'
The only con is that it doesn't last all day....but it is such a light foundation that one can't really expect it to "
