Description

jane iredale PureLash™ Extender & Conditioner is the first step in creating incredible lashes. It primes your lashes for mascara application, adding diameter and length for a beautifully framed eye. It also allows you to use less mascara. Natural algae extract conditions your lashes to decrease breakage and lash loss, and this revolutionary formula may even encourage your lashes to grow.

Who It’s For: Recommended for all skin and lash types.

How It Works:

Hydrolyzed wheat proteins help reduce static electricity and condition hair.
Glycerin locks in necessary hydration and prevents overdrying of fragile skin and hair.
Algae extract is rich in skin-nourishing minerals and detoxifies skin and lashes.
Carnauba wax is a natural wax from the leaves of palm trees. It helps skin and lashes retain moisture.

Suggested Use: Layer on a thin coat. Don’t let it dry completely before applying mascara. It should still be tacky. One coat of mascara should be plenty.

More Information: All of the jane iredale formulas have multiple benefits for skin. All are safe for acne-prone skin and sensitive skin. They are completely noncomedogenic and allow skin to breathe. They can be used immediately following microdermabrasion procedures and light peels (check with a physician before using any makeup after a laser resurfacing). All of the products are water- and perspiration-resistant and keep skin from drying out. None of the jane iredale formulas contain talc or parabens, and none have been tested on animals.

I have tried a few other lash bases for mascara, but I like that this one is also a multi tasker and conditions my lashes ON TOP of making them longer! However, I use it differently than the directions suggested usage. On my first application I did follow directions and didn't let it dry, immediately applying my mascara after. But the mascara seemed to just apply the same when it comes to length. When I let the extender dry completely, recurl my lashes and then apply mascara it was amazing and looked like I had on false lashes! So doing it this way I would definitely recommend this product!"

After a few days I began to notice that when I took off my eye make-up (using my same clinique eye make-up remover as usual) I noticed that a few lashes came out on the cotton ball and I saw a few on my cheek too. I can only think it was from this conditioner because i used my normal mascara and was very gentle. I think I'll go back to my make-up forever lash fibers for a base."
