Includes: 30 cleansing cloths.

No matter how late it is, or how tired you are before falling into bed, Kaia Bamboo Facial Cleansing Cloths will cleanse your skin and remove impurities and makeup without rinsing or water! This four-in-one product performs the combined function of a cleanser, toner, eye make-up remover, and cleansing cloth, leaving your skin feeling refreshed, soothed, and nourished. Formulated with organic Canadian honey and infused with eight pure citrus essential oils and sunflower seed oil, it cleans impurities without leaving behind a tight-skin feeling. These cleansing cloths are so effective that they remove mascara, even waterproof mascara, gently, without tugging and pulling!

If you suffer from sensitive skin, you know that the ingredients found in many “wet wipes” are not always suited for your skin. The beauty of bamboo is that it is very, very soft, unlike rayon (which is what most cleansing wipes are made from, along with wood fibers), which can be rough and can pull on the delicate skin in the eye area or cheeks. Perfect for those with red, irritated, and inflamed skin and those suffering from rosacea, these cashmere soft cloths and gentle cleansing formula will leave skin clean, without causing any aggravation.

Who It's For: Ideal for all skin types, including sensitive or rosacea-prone skin.

How It Works:

  • Bamboo is naturally able to eliminate bacteria, stays fresher and odor-free for longer and is more hygienic and healthier than any other fiber. In China, bamboo fiber is used to make medical gowns, as it is naturally antimicrobial and perfect for a sterile environment. The bamboo used in Kaia Cleansing Cloths is unbleached to keep it free from chemicals.
  • Grapefruit oil tightens puffy skin, reduces enlarged pores and removes impurities.
  • Lemon oil is a powerful astringent and antiseptic.
  • Lime oil has astringent and antiseptic properties and boosts skin circulation and clears congested skin
  • Bergamot oil has antiseptic and antibiotic properties.
  • Mandarin oil has good antiseptic and cell rejuvenating properties.
  • Orange oil nourishes skin and improves skin tone for a healthy, smooth look.
  • Spearmint oil is has antiseptic properties and can prevent pimples and acne.
  • Tangerine oil increase circulation to the skin.
  • Canadian organic honey is an emollient and nutrient with antioxidant and anti-microbial properties with the ability to absorb and retain moisture.
  • Sunflower seed oil is a rich emollient high in linoleic and oleic essential fatty acids and vitamin E.
  • Sodium lauroyl oat amino acids, derived from oats, is an extremely mild cleansing agent.
  • Panthenol is a moisturizer, derived from vitamin B5, with humectant-like properties that aid in skin absorption.
  • Salicylic acid gently exfoliates the skin, reducing sebum build-up.
  • Acacia gum, derived from the acacia tree, is soothing to the skin.

Suggested Use: Getting the most from your cleansing cloth is important as the cloths are packaged to last you an entire month: Use both sides of the cloth.

  • Step 1: Remove your facial makeup first.
  • Step 2: Then flip the cloth over and remove lipstick and eye makeup last.

Lives Up To The Claims, But Not The Price

"To be fair, these cloths deliver exactly what they promise to. They remove eye makeup like a champ (even my LashFood mascara, which stays in place very well) and they smell great - a little sweet and citrusy. I love the list of ingredients - pure essential oils, honey, bamboo. They did not irritate my contact lenses and my skin felt very soft after I used them.

With all of those positive attributes, there is one factor that outweighs them all: the price. At 60 cents per use, this is a very pricey skincare regimen. These cloths are smaller than I expected, and though I was able to remove all of my makeup with one cloth, I have seen many other bloggers say that they needed two to remove all their makeup. Also, since they come with a hang tag that says "soaked with juicy vitamins," I was expecting the cloth to be a little more moist than it was.

Also, when doing a side-by-side comparison with a less expensive brand (in this case, Pond's Evening Soothe Towelettes, about $4.50 for 30 count, about 15 cents each) I didn't notice a difference in performance at all. This was actually very surprising, as I was expecting to be blown away by the difference in performance of the Kaia cloths over the Pond's. The Kaia wipe looked messier, as if it had removed more makeup, but the Pond's removed my makeup just as well and I did not notice a huge difference in the feel of my skin on either side of my face. (I am curious to see how a Kaia cloth performs side by side with a bamboo baby wipe, which can be had for just pennies each.

These Kaia cleansing cloths work just as promised, and they are convenient and environmentally friendly, but no matter which of those factors are your priority, there are more affordable options."
