How It Works:
- Lemongrass Essential Water is purified, de-ionized water that has been infused with lemongrass extract. This extract is rich in anti-oxidants; it improves your hair's shine and adds body.
- Sugar Emollients improve hair texture.
- Sweet Almond Protein combined with Soy & Rice Protein Blend helps repair damaged hair cuticles and improves the appearance of dry or overly styled hair.
- Natural Botanical Extracts (white tea, almond, horsetail, coltsfoot, nettle, ginseng, aloe, Hawaiian white ginger & watercress) strengthen and condition your hair while increasing its shine and silkiness. They improve manageability and stimulate hair growth.
- Anti-oxidant Botanical Filters help shield your hair from environmental agents.
Results: Gives your hair the better-than-clean look your hair has the day after you wash it.
Suggested Use: Emulsify a small amount in your hands and work through dry or damp hair. Style your hair as desired; mold, chunk, or piece. For best control, wait until hair is completely dry and rub a dime-sized amount of Dirt into your dry palms until it disappears. Distribute sparingly through your hair and tousle. For added volume, rub Dirt in your palms until it disappears, then scrunch in at the roots. Add texture by running hands through ends.

"One of the best hair products out there! It's perfect for styling but a little goes a long way. I use it at the end of styling my hair. I rub a small amount of the tips of my fingers and use it at my roots and rub upward to make my teased hair stay in place better for longer. It's one of the best, definitely worth the cost. "

"I really like this product and would highly recommend it. I was skeptical, at first, bc it seemed a little dry but I take a small amount, rub my hands together and then style my short, textured hair when it's wet or dry. My hair, including cowlicks, is exactly as I want it and the hold lasts all day--spiked, texturized, matte, soft to the touch. The only semi-constructive criticism is that the smell is a bit too...feminine/kind of like baby powder + vanilla. It's not bad but it's the only con I can give this. I'd say to spend the money and try this, if you're on the fence."

"I used to like this more than I do now. It is too sticky now...I usually mix it with some shine oil (just a little). I have started using jonathon silky dirt (I spray in my hand, not all over my head) and like that consistency a little better. However, I LOVE the smell of this! If Jonathan came out with a dirt perfume, I would buy it immediately!"

"I LOVED Dirt when I had shorter hair. It smells good and it's not gloppy (is that a word?) like a lot of other texturizing pastes. My hair is really fine and it didn't weigh it down. It made it look the good kind of "dirty." The kind that usually looks better on girls with thicker hair. If I chop my locks again, I'll definitely get some more."
