"This powder smells AWESOME and the hint of color actually makes it a nice bronzing powder for your skin. With that said, I'm not totally in love with it as a "dry shampoo". You need to be VERY careful about how much you apply. My hair ended up feeling straw-like the first few times I used it. I'm keeping the product, but probably won't be using it as a hair product anymore -- keep it to your skin, and you'll love it!"

"Love the smell and that the color blends on my hair nicely, After the use my hair does not look clean, but does not look dirty either. I guess its good for its purpose. I use it a lot during the winter, because I have very long hair and sometimes I just don't have the time to wash, comb and blow dry my hair, so I just need a quick fix. My only issue is that even though my hair doesn't look dirty, It still fells dirty and even more with the powder caked on my hair, so I pretty much spend all day desperate to go home and wash my hair. Will definitely buy another one when my is gone."

"I wash my hair every other day. Second day hair is slightly oily sometimes. Also, it's flat/limp. I thought I would use this product as a dry shampoo to absorb the oil and to "fluff" up my hair. First week or so I love it. The smell is pleasing. Much better than baby powder especially when you have dark hair. I sprinkle onto my hand then rub in into my roots. I use it sparingly. But by the end of second week, I noticed my hair was feeling like straw in areas where I applied. It was like I couldn't remove this stuff when shampooing. I was only successful in removing it when mixing shampoo w/baking soda. Sadly to say, this is going back. "

I love that it is slightly colored and not stark white like baby powder, and also that it has a light sweet (lemony-cake) smell to it (rather than nasty baby powder). The powder is really fine, not gritty at all and it works pretty well. Also great for travel!
CON:
It's way too expensive for the size. Think about how much you pay for a huge bottle of baby powder... I'm used to buying good quality hair products, but this is overpriced. I'd give it five starts if it were $8!"

"This isn't technically a dry shampoo, but it does the exact same thing. Only this isn't as gritty as a lot of others I've tried and it matches your hair color so you don't look like you have dandruff. It's actually a satiny powder that I'll probably use more in the summer in my hair AND on my skin. The scent is barely noticible, but once you rub it into your scalp or skin you can definitely smell a light, clean, just slightly sweet scent. "

"This powder works really well on my second day hair. I have an oily scalp, and this worked as promised to soak up all the oil and help my hair look cleaner. Didn't leave big globs of powder clumps in my hair, so that was great! I have red hair, so I have dark powder. The powder is a medium brown color, and it blends really well into my hair. I can see why this is such a popular product and would definitely recommend to my friends. Can't wait to try more Cake Beauty products!"
