"Yes it contains alcohol, but 7% is not very high compared to though drugstore brands which contain 20% even 30%. When rinsing, I do feel a little irritating, but I know even alcohol free products can irritate, as long as there is ingredient for whitening. Most commonly used whitening ingredient is H2O2, which can be used for bleaching color. But this product use baking soda instead. This sounds interesting, but does not mean that it works better. Actually, whitening teeth only by rinse is impossible. In a word, it isn't bad, but I can find highlight in this product either. Considering its price (which is several times over crest's alcohol-free professional whitening rinse), I won't buy it again. "
