"Very expensive, but worth the purchase. I sometimes even use it as a moisturizer. Gives my skin a rosy glow, looks vibrant and lush. I have oily/acneic skin sometimes, so i never breakout from it. It very well erases any post acne scars too :)"

"I have been using this product for a month and I am seeing some change in the texture and quality of my skin. I love that it's not oily and is absorbed into the ksin easily. When I use it on my skin, the skin takes on a nice glow, as if I just came in from a run. I am going to stick with this product, I think it's worth the money definitely."

"Love this product! Easy to use under makeup helps skin feels softer and smoother."

"Okay, I love this product.
It goes on super smoothly, and I love how it isn’t sticky like so many other products I’ve tried. The ONLY con that I can think of is the smell. It has a mild chemical smell that isn’t very appealing to me, but I guess that is a small price to pay for true results.
THE PROVERBIAL BOTTOM LINE: I’ve used this product for one week now, and it’s fantastic. My skin was dry and rough from the harsh winter, and after a few treatments it was very smooth. I’m so very impressed. It’s not oily or too thick, either. As far as its anti-aging properties, I have noticed that my fine lines have decreased. I’m very confident that after a few more weeks my skin will look absolutely amazing.
I urge you all to RUN out and try this."

"(From CosmeticMonster.com) the REVIEW (1/16/2011): Skin care marketing can get rather redundant after a while. If you pay close attention, the play on words “reduce the appearance of” (which means it doesn’t actually get rid of anything), “dermatologist-tested” (well, what were the results?) – they are getting more and more clever at the psychology behind advertising. That said, I walked past PTR Laser-Free Resurfacer several times. Of course I knew that somewhere “Does not compare to actual laser procedures” would be written in small type. However, at closer inspection, the words “Dragon’s Blood” caught my eye.
While researching skin care products, I came across this Dragon’s Blood (read article here) which is a deep red resin from the Croton Lechleri Tree. Its been know to treat multiple medical conditions including the skin disorder eczema. I haven’t seen it widely marketed in skin care – although I think it is an up and coming ingredient. For one, it has promising properties and well, sounds cool.
The product itself has a distinct silicone texture and feel to it – sinks into the surface of the skin quickly without a greasy feel. It doesn’t burn or itch upon application as it does not have an AHA as its active ingredient. So it isn’t a resurfacer in the traditional sense. The research behind it claims to boost elastin (61%), diminish wrinkles/lines (56%) and increase pro-collagen (84%). I’m 38 – so these are results I would love to see from my skin care. I’m committing to using this product primarily AM and PM for four weeks to see if I yield these results.
STARTING POINT: Skin is looking dull and rough due to severe lack of sleep, stress and poor diet during holidays. I have combination-sensitive skin (although lately its been oilier) with some discoloration (sun damage), no real lines around the eyes, minor breakouts due to hormones/stress.
WEEK ONE: Love the texture. Doesn’t feel heavy or like a traditional silicone product. A little over a week and no rash or break outs (other than the PMS related standards). Did not seem to do much the first few days. Into the 8th day of consistent use, skin appears smoother and even toned. Fine lines on my forehead are softer. Note: drier skins will definitely need a moisturizer on top.
My Skin 1/16/11I’m a little horified that I’m letting you see my BARE skin (taken indoors with flash). But I think its the only way to really see if there’s any kind of improvement. This is my right cheek after using the Laser-Free for 9 days. Sorry, I didn’t think to take a photo in the beginning. As you can see, a little redness, large pores, discoloration.
WEEK THREE: After using this consistently for 3 weeks (since 1/07/11) I had to give up on this product. After a somewhat promising start – the true test started at week two. There was a noticeable increase in clogged pores on my cheeks – then a major breakout on my chin which started as hard bumps then graduated into cysts. Yuck. Since this was the only product I added, its the obvious culprit; more than likely because my skin normally has an aversion to silicone. How unfortunate since everyone wants this in their products because it gives the skin immediate smoothing. Instant gratification.
So, back to the store this went. I hate to return things – but this was something I couldn’t even pass on to a friend. I did pick up the Peter Thomas Roth AHA/BHA Acne Clearing Gel to help rectify the “situation”. I’m really disappointed – I wanted to love this product."
