How it Works: This kit includes six essential products formulated to provide a complete day and night routine for oily and blemish prone skin types. When used in together, these products are designed to provide calming, purifying and refining results as they enrich your skin with vitamins and botanical ingredients.
Ole Henriksen Aloe Vera Deep Cleanser, 2 oz.: This rich foaming cleanser invigorates and soothes your skin.
Walnut Complexion Scrub, 1 oz.: This foaming scrub gently exfoliates to aid in cell renewal, energizing your skin.
Blemish Attack Mask, 1 oz.: Reparative anti-inflammatory mask with salicylic acid & zinc. Combines purifying clays to help absorb impurities. Minimizes breakouts and reduces excess surface oil with calming botanicals.
Grease Relief Face Tonic, 2 oz.: This toner minimizes your pores and reduces breakouts, leaving your skin soothed and calmed, without over-drying.Invigorating Night Gel, 1 oz.: Oil free and lightweight, this gel nourishes your skin with minerals to give you a smoother, more refined and hydrated complexion.
Vitamin Plus Balancing Creme, 1 oz.: This lightweight cream balances and calms your skin, giving you a matte finish with a light veil of moisture.
Suggested Use:
Step 1. Splash face with warm water, then apply cleanser on damp complexion sponge or hands. Release the cleansing extracts while massaging the sponge over face and throat in firm, circular motions, then rinse thoroughly.
Step 2. After cleansing, saturate cotton and sweep tonic over face and throat day / night; leave to dry.
Step 3. Smooth Vitamin Plus™ in the morning over face and throat, massaging in upward, outward circular motions.
Step 4. At night, apply the Invigorating Night Gel™ evenly over face and neck.
Step 5. Use Blemish Attack® Purifying Mask twice per week. Apply a generous layer to cleansed skin, avoiding eye area. Let dry for 20-30 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water and a soft complexion sponge.
Step 6. Use Walnut Complexion Scrub™ 2 – 3 times a week in place of cleanser. Apply to wet, clean skin & massage in circular motions. Rinse with warm water and continue with your regular skincare routine. - Product Info

"The honeymoon phase with this product lasted about two weeks. My skin was really soft and not as red when I was using salicylic acid and peroxide. A month in I am getting pretty bad cystic acne on my chin and now on my upper lip. My skin hasn't been this bad in years! The day lotion and night cream made me EXTREMELY OILY. Very disappointed. Now I'll have to go back to my old routine and start all over again."

"This little pack is terrible. I've tried others in this line and this is by far the worst one. The cleanser has a weird consistency, the mask is so so, the toner is oily feeling, the lotion is super thick. It did nothing for my ache and it didn't improve my skin in ANY way. made it look dull and at the end of the day oily shiny. Would NOT buy again and is NOT recommended. "

"This set was great. I really like the Ole Henriksen starter kits because they are a great way to try a ton of their best products. The cleanser has a nice smell and does a good job cleaning and balancing my skin. I like that it has aloe in it. I have not been using a toner for well over a year, and I really like the grease relief tonic, and will purchase a full size when I am done with the starter one. The Vitamin Plus day creme is very light weight and has great ingredients, but is not that mattifying on my skin. I use a small amount now (in summer) and think I would prefer to use the creme in winter. Walnut scrub is PERFECTION! I usually prefer jojoba scrubs, but I like how smooth the walnut scrub made my skin after using. As long as you are really gentle moving it across the skin it will not feel like it is scratching the skin. I think it is smoother than the Ole Henriksen ART scrub. The blemish mask was nice as well, but I only use once a week because I like to use my Pangea Matcha Tea mask more. I also really like the invigorating night gel! Goes on well underneath my normal night cream and I feel like it has really helped brighten and keep my skin under control. Out of all of the products I got to try in this kit, the only one I would not buy a full size item of is the mask (because I have another I like better). The only products in the regimen that did not come with this kit is an eye cream and a night cream."
