"I like it and still use it about half the time, but don't feel like it curls my lashes...just pushes them straight up to similar effect. Definitely works better after mascara application. I don't think it works at all without... But it's definitely a refreshing alternative to those pinch-y curlers."

"I'm very surprised at all the positive comments - this heated curler did not hold for me at all. It could be because my lashes are more difficult to curl but they are not thick, nor do I have a large volume of lashes. If there is an actual method that requires some maneuvering or time applied, they should include that with the item. I am returning this item."

I seriously don't know how I lived without this curler before. I'm usually not the one to give a lot of praise to "ok" or stellar products so trust me when I say THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST-HAVE! I have never seen my eyelashes look so amazing! It does indeed look cheaply made, as Tiffany said, but the result justifies its looks. The key is to first let it heat up enough before using it, like you would with your normal flat iron or hair curler, and then start brushing your eyelashes with it. When you notice they started to curl, brush the lashes up on the eye and hold them in the curled position for 10-15 seconds, then repeat with another eye. That will do the trick :)"

"looove this product! no tugging, pulling or crimping of my lashes. I'm asian, and have really straight lashes. the lash curl lasted a LOT longer with the Japonesque Heated Curler compared to the old curler. It takes a little longer than the old method, but I think the lift and curl lasts much longer w/ this curler. I use it before and after mascara application to really get my lashes out there!"

"For me it didn't work any better than a regular eye lash curler and I tried it before mascara and after. It didn't have any more of a dramatic effect on my lashes than normal. Also, it seems to be fairly cheaply made, maybe I'm picky, but it didn't seem worth the money to me."
