How it works: Glycolic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid that occurs naturally in sugar cane. It treats skin conditions such as acne, environmental aging and hyperpigmentation. It provides a noninvasive lifting of the cells in the stratum corneum, which enables glycolic acid to act as a phenomenal resurfacing agent that can immensely improve the appearance of the skin and even reduce the depth of acne scarring. Glycolic acid may also stimulate collagen, increase epidermal volume, and act as a powerful antioxidant and free radical inhibitor. Lipolysis technology temporarily blocks the alpha-2 receptors primarily responsible for restricting fat mobilization and contributing to contour irregularities such as cellulite.
