How It Works:
- Allantoin, a compound that is found in comfrey root, is known to be a bacteria inhibitor and can soothe and reduce inflammation in various product formulations.
- Chamomile extract distilled from the chamomile flower, has soothing and comforting properties.
- Honey is used as an emollient in skin care and creates a watertight film, allowing skin to rehydrate itself and leaving skin moisturized, soft, and fragrant.
- Marshmallow root has been used in Greece for centuries as an anti-inflammatory, calming and soothing agent for the skin. Known as an ancient treatment for psoriasis, eczema, diaper rash and dry skin, it was also used to treat sore gums in teething babies.
- Panthenol is a penetrating moisturizer which absorbs into the skin and is converted into pantothenic acid, a B complex vitamin, which assists in retaining water and also absorbs water from the air, aiding in skin moisturization.
- Lavender is known for its antiseptic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. It also has effective aromatherapy qualities associated with calmness and relaxation.
- Clover is a topical herbal remedy believed to speed up the process of healing wounds and other external injuries. Clover is also beneficial in the treatment of skin diseases such as psoriasis and other external conditions.
Suggested Use: For use in the shower, apply wash directly to a wet body sponge or cloth, wash skin and rinse off. Disperse under running bath water for a delightful foaming bath experience. Follow with your favorite Glowology moisturizer: Lovely Body Lotion for normal or sensitive skin, or Opulent Body Butter for extremely dry skin. For optimal results, use at least once a week.
