The Sundari Story

Sundari is the brainchild of three business-savvy and beautiful women - Ayla Hussain, Cavan Mahony, and Christy Turlington. Hussain and Mahony are graduates of Harvard Business School. A former supermodel, Turlington has graced countless runways, magazines and billboards during her successful fashion career.

The three women, who share longtime interests in holistic skin care and yoga, created Sundari in 1999 in New York.  Now based in the Los Angeles area, Sundari continues to promote health, vitality, longevity and beauty by bringing its Ayurvedic-inspired skin care to women around the globe.

Science/Innovation

Formulated with organic ingredients and therapeutic-grade essential oils, Sundari products are free of synthetic dyes and fragrance, and they are not tested on animals.

Key ingredients range from such well-known plants as chamomile, aloe vera and lavender to more exotic ingredients from India, including Gotu Kola and Neem. 

Sundari’s anti-aging products contain such proven botanicals and essential oils as rose oil, green tea, and sandalwood, which are combined with other ingredients to achieve visible esthetic results faster.

Firming properties: Gotu Kola stimulates collagen production.

Supplifying properties: A proprietary complex with Omega-3.

Healing properties: Neem. This leaf extract keeps skin supple and healthy. It offers anti-aging and antiseptic properties.

Nurturing properties: Essential oil and botanicals.
