The John Masters™ Organics Story

John Masters understands that high-quality, effective products can use only natural, organic ingredients to deliver beautiful results. Described as “part basement alchemist, part organic innovator,” Masters began mixing his products in his kitchen sink. Today, his company offers more than 30 luxury organic products sold around the globe, and he owns Manhattans first “clean-air salon,” also under his brand name, John Masters™ Organics.

 In 2001, Masters launched his paraben-free, organic skin care line, a natural, healthy way to achieve glorious skin.

 The Science

John Masters™ Organics uses only natural organic ingredients in its products. The company partners with local, multigenerational farmers who employ proven, eco-sensitive practices. The products use wild-harvested ingredients as well as cold-pressed and steam-distilled extracts; petroleum- and non-carbon-based products are never added. In fact, all ingredients used in John Masters™ Organics products are certified organic by EcoCert, Quality Assurance International, California Certified Organic Farmers or Organic Crop Improvement Association. All ingredients are recognized by the National Organic Program for the USDA. Most of all, every ingredient meets Masters’ own strict guidelines (http://www.johnmasters.com/philosophy.htm).

 As part of its environmentally conscious efforts, John Masters™ Organics uses minimal ink on 100 percent recycled and unbleached paper. The products are biodegradable and the packaging is recyclable and biodegradable.
